September 17: Business & Pleasure Vlog

Dear Backstagers,

How are you all surviving this mercury in retrograde? Letting yourself off the hook I hope. Surrender is the name of the game…just let all the things that irk and irritate you dissipate into thin air…until life makes sense again.

I am so happy to announce my vlog…Business & Pleasure. I strive to document my experience bringing my new album to the world while sharing some of the secrets that are helping me along the way. I will always post my episodes here first…so you can see them before anyone else.

Michael has moved in and it is a mix of bliss and chaos. Boxes are everywhere and things that haven’t been cleaned in ages are finally getting the Holmes touch. The cat thinks it’s the apocalypse but seems to be able to nap through it all. I thought about this recently, that cats and animals…don’t do anything. They just exist, yet their power is immense. I feel like we all need to take a cue from animals and know that half the time, maybe all the time, we just need to follow our instincts.

I am preparing for a few new shows…with guitarist Iain McNally who you’ll meet in my new video. I promise to have Davis take some video for you for those of you who can’t make the concerts in person.

I’ve had some exceptional moments to be grateful for this week. Zwerg finished his jacket for me and you can see the video of me unboxing and putting it on here:
