Emm at Windrush Winery
Tickets: https://windrushestatewinery.com/product/sun-july-20th-emm-dryer-singer-composer-single-ticket/
From the stages of Glastonbury Festival to the set of Saturday Night Live, Juno nominated Canadian Emm Gryner has been a kaleidoscope of music, creativity and passion. She’s sung on world-class stages with legends David Bowie and Def Leppard, while pioneering her own path in the music industry. Founding one of Canada’s first independent record labels, Dead Daisy Records, she released her own music alongside others like Sarah Slean and Royal Wood. The Glastonbury 2000 concert she performed with Bowie served as a powerful reminder of the healing energy of music: the voice is a lifeline, a force of connection and an expression of raw humanity. Beyond the stage, she collaborated with Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield to create the first music video filmed in space. Her book, The Healing Power of Singing: Raise Your Voice, Change Your Life (ECW Press), became an Amazon bestseller and is a testament to how music can uplift lives.
Your $45 reservation includes the concert, pop-up art exhibition by Andie Trepanier, and a reception with Windrush’s international award-winning VQA wines, treats and meeting the artists. Guests under 19 or over 90 are free. Part of proceeds help empower underserved kids using the arts at youthLEADarts.com

Andrew Spice is a classically trained pianist, vocalist and songwriter who grew up in rural Manitoba. He earned numerous accolades during his early music education and was headed toward a career as a concert pianist. Then, influenced by the raw confessional albums released by artists such as Tori Amos, Fiona Apple and PJ Harvey in the 90s, Andrew began writing his own songs. The process proved powerfully cathartic. As a coming-of-age queer person, he soon caught the attention of 3-time JUNO nominee Emm Gryner. From the stages of Glastonbury Festival to the set of Saturday Night Live, Gryners’ life has been a kaleidoscope of music, creativity and unapologetic passion. As an artist, she’s shared her voice on world-class stages and collaborated with legends like David Bowie and Def Leppard, while pioneering a path in a music industry rife with change.
