Lost Girl Versions tracks

While the whole Def Leppard / Sugar thing was going down, I was put back in touch with Chris Wardman who was the producer of the original Girl Versions album. Some of you got to meet him during the GV anniversary concert. At first, we thought we might use the original version to go with the Leppard’s new recording but in the end I ended up re-recording the song at Blue Sound in Toronto. Chris, ever the gentleman, has been gracious about that (some guys would not have been) but in that process he decided to remix the whole album, and he found some lost tracks.

Woah. I was blown away by what he found. I’m sharing “I’ll Stick Around” my Foo Fighters cover with you in rare songs. No one has heard it except those of you who heard it live in concert, and it’s an eery, amazing snapshot of my twentysomething rage and my knack for interpreting rock songs at that time in my life.
